13-Jun-2001The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) todayannounced a fourteen man squad for the triangular limitedovers series to be played in Zimbabwe shortly. Announcing theteam at a press conference at Mumbai, Jaywant Lele, HonourarySecretary of the BCCI, told reporters that JavagalSrinath, who had asked to be rested for one-dayers, left armmedium pacer Ashish Nehra, opening batsmen Shiv Sunder Das,Sadagoppan Ramesh and leg spinner Sairaj Bahutule would returnfrom Zimbabwe soon after the second test which will end onJune 19.The chairman of the selection committee, ChanduBorde, who too spoke to reporters, said Yuvraj Singh andDinesh Mongia (both from Punjab) were discussed but the committeeopted for the latter as he was more consistent.
