Gio Reyna's Borussia Dortmund have drawn Ricardo Pepi and Sergino Dest's PSV Eindhoven in the Round of 16 of the Champions League.

The German side won their Group of Death challenge ahead of Paris-Saint Germain, AC Milan and Newcastle United with Reyna only being sparsely utilized. The Dutch champions, on the other hand, finished second behind Arsenal in their group, only losing once in that stage. The last-16 tie brings a clash between two sides that have seen a great deal of USMNT representation in recent years.

Pepi and Dest's side have been performing well domestically with PSV looking likely to win the league as the defending Dutch champions. Dortmund, on the other hand, have struggled for consistency in the German championship with less than half of their games ending up as wins. Reyna has not played a very critical part for the side either as he has struggled with injuries and a lack of consistency.

As per OptaJohan, the clash will only be the third time the two sides face each other. The first two times were during the First Group Stage of the 2002/03 Champions League.
